I’ve been caught up on tumblr http://carfacce.tumblr.com/ and Ive also been trying to write in a written journal.

Maybe I’ll write in this again. I was reading my old posts and I thought I seemed very intelligent then hahaha.

Right now I’m still trying to plan out effin Oregon business. Financial aid… how do I deal with all this loan stuff? Orientation? Flying back for the Nike Marathon (Which I have not trained for a month for……….)

It’s silly when people take everything for granted… and then suddenly appreciate

Sometimes I think about things like how words are spelled or put in certain manners and it just trips the me out. Like how the word ‘you’ is actually kinda pretty looking/sounding if you take out the context that it’s one of the most used and common words in the English language. Is this just me?

I honest to god miss being a kid. Being all whimsical, clueless, bratty, destructive, active, happy. The one thing I really loved about being a kid was the play structures and recess. Sharing snacks and juicy gossip for a mere 15 minutes, oh joy! My childhood was great up until age 11-12. Everything before responsibility was all gravyy

Of course being an adult is just fine being able to do adult shit. But there is always that nostalgic switch in my head that constantly reminds me West Portal Elementary (the better West Portal) and the pink/yellow house with a HUGE backyard on Montana St.

Props for American childhoods!

I’m suchhhhh a pansy. I just spent most of today reading the Kite Runner and just straight up crying over some chapters. But I can’t put it down. I feel like I will finish the book before tonight ends.

I’ve been feeling a little out of touch and out of place. Just off.

It’s a horrible feeling because I have no idea why. I suppose I should try and render in some type of program into my life. I really need to regulate my weekends so I’m doing something productive like studying instead of wallowing about, watching the olympics or something (even though that is highly entertaining, NBC doesn’t cut it). I’m trying to start running again and relive my cross country days cause I honestly miss those. And trail running 8). Problem is, I’ve yet to find some affordable shoes :<

Also, I still haven’t ‘joined’ ripple yet, hahah. I DO miss DB just not those DB arms. gross.

Today I discovered that I should be notified of Oregon’s admission decision by April 1st. It would be really cruel if they accept me and then revoke it as a April Fool’s Joke (vis a vis UCSD’s email fiasco the previous college season). But of course they wouldn’t. I’m actually really surprised by how awesome UOregon Admissions’s ‘customer’ service is. They utilize Twitter, Facebook, and even live chat on their website if you have questions on the admissions process. Further more, they have a very defined program for every level of prospective students. I think excellent admissions should be universal. It’s one thing to be able to uphold a great reputation, it’s another to actually reach out to others effectively.

(USC also has a very good admissions btw)
